August 11, 2017

In engineering, mathematics, physics, chemistry, bioinformatics, computational biology, meteorology and computer science, multiscale modeling or multiscale mathematics is the field of solving problems which have important features at multiple scales of time and/or space (from Wikipedia). Figure below shows multiscale modeling in materials science and engineering.

Latest Review on Sintering (03/2017)!

August 14, 2017

The review paper entitled "Current understanding and future research directions at the onset of the next century of sintering science and technology" just came out in March 2017 in the Journal of the American Ceramic Society. The authors including Prof. Bordia, Prof. Kang, and Prof. Olevksy offer a very nice chance to know the current and future status of sintering science and technology and point out several key research directions on sintering in both modeling and experimental aspects.
